Ted Porter’s S-10 Conversion

Ted Porter did an excellent job at converting his 1994 Chevrolet S-10 pickup to all electric. While using lead acid batteries, he still gets a practical range of 60 miles on a charge even going 60 MPH. This is a perfect example of how easily obtained technology can covert a vehicle to never see a gas station again. As you can see from the photo below, Ted really kept the setup clean and by installing the batteries in the frame rails, he kept the center of gravity low and in between the wheels.
So, thanks Ted for taking action and making this great vehicle.
